Some ask this question once in a lifetime, some every day. The question, that makes us think who is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God has many sides: Love, Savior, Teacher, Messiah, God of Forgiveness, and God of Healing. He’s strict and just. At this moment of my life God opens to me as God the Father. He gives me His anointing, His love, His style of life. As the physical father God cares of me every second. He loves me no matter what! I love Him very much and desire His presence. Every time when He comes He’s different, because He knows my heart and what I need most of all at special period of time. He teaches me to love others. To look at people through His love.
From the first days of my birth He holds my hand and doesn’t leave it. Even if I run from Him He finds me and holds me in His arms. When I fall down He lifts me up, heals my wounds and gives me new clothes. Every day He gives me His presents. He trusts me. He’s presented me the most precious thing that I have – life. He believes in me. He teaches me what to do in different situations; He teaches me what it is to be a man.
“What it means to be a man? “ I asked my husband and here it is what he answered.
From the first sight it may seem that it is very easy to be a man. Many think that to be a man means to have much money, to have strength, to build a house, plant a tree and raise a son, go fishing and watch football with beer and chips. To be a man means to take responsibility for your words and actions, for other people. To find solution, when there is no hope. To be support and strength to his family. To be a step for further generations and help who go after you to succeed. To see eyes of Jesus and go to Him.
A man is not a thing between his legs and a mass of big muscles.
Then I asked my husband whether he’d ever wanted to be a girl. He smiled and said: “I like my thing” and we laughed hard. Then he continued: God created me a man and He has a plan for my life. I don’t know this plan till the end but every time I speak with Him on this topic He opens me the heights to reach and shows me the importance of being a man. Though when I was 5 I dressed my mom’s skirt and shoes, but it was only curiosity. Now I know that I was born a man not accidentally. It’s easier to be a boy because they don’t have periods and they don’t give birth.
How often do you doubt the existence of God?
Never! There were thoughts to leave Him, but I’ve always known that He’s real.
What does it mean to leave Him?
I don’t know what it means. Maybe it’s a naïve thought to run away from Him, though He’s everywhere, to hide from Him, though He sees everything. Not to think about Him, when everything in the world reminds about Him. How can one leave what can not be left and how one can live without life? Though the only way to leave Him is to pretend that He doesn’t exist. Whom do I want to deceive if in Him everything lives, moves and exists?
The answer of the decent man!
Here are more answers from the decent men:
A man is the head of the family, the president, to make jokes.
He’s the head of the circumstances that come. It’s who can be bent; bent, but he can not be bent. It is he, who is responsible for everything. The one, who can make everything in time if he wants. Ready to help no matter how he feels, even if he can’t.
I’ll better not answer. A man is a human with hairy chest and hairy legs.
A man is Ilya. Ilya is my brother. He’s a man because my mother gave birth to him.
A man is my father, he always supports me and he loves me! And I want him to be my man.
A man is a decision. It is fathership. A man is not just age; it’s what you take inside of you and ask God to help you in these things because it’s difficult if you do it on your own.
To be a man means…who knows? It means to eat much meat; it is someone who’s always first. Takes responsibility! Oh, now are clever words! What else? Maybe nothing, I have no more words. Ask Denis!
A man is perfection of all.
P.S. Thank you, Dad that You created such wonderful people – men!
