We, as Christians, often focus on the spirit. We often think about the growth of the spiritual man, and lose sight of our souls. And we not only to treat ourselves in such a way, but put the same criteria set for others. A person with a strong spirit is more valuable for us than a person with a pure heart. We are more interested in communicating with a person who is able to see in the Spirit, move in the Spirit, who has the gifts of the Spirit ... and stop paying attention to friendliness, sincerity, simplicity, or simply humanity. And we sometimes miss people who have beautiful soul.
Do not get me wrong, I'm not saying that the spiritual man is not important - no. After all, we are children of Christ, and should be like Him. The first commandment that Jesus gave us: "To love God with all your heart, with all your soul, your whole mind and with all your strength." Does God say here that we have to love Him in the spirit? No! God does not care what my spirit is: a little or a grown-up, a sighted or blind, lame or burning. He’s not interested. But He is waiting for my heart and soul, because it's His house. If God focuses His attention on my heart and soul, then my opinion should also be directed on these things!
The present value of a person is not in his spirit, but in his heart! It is great to see, move in the Spirit and understand Him, but in the beginning stands the heart! Many can not understand Jesus because they were hard-hearted.
I know He loves me, God! He loves me with all His heart, His whole soul, His whole mind and strength of His! If God loves me so much and I love Him so much, then, how do I have to love people? Should I pay attention to their spiritual level? I think no! If for God the heart and the soul are important, then they are important for me also. As it is written in the Bible: the flesh always wants the opposite of the spirit, and I think that it is the soul, that decides who wins. When heart and soul completely immersed in God, then the flesh has simply no chance. Christ teaches us to nurture our spirit, but Christ can not learn us to give our lives to God, this is our choice! And when we decide who should own our soul, then the fun begins!
Price of the soul - is the price of our choice! And the devil is hunting for souls, because God created the man, "breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul" Genesis. 2:7. In other words the breath of God is hidden in our souls! Let's not forget our own souls and the souls of those around us.
